Pickup crashes into sign, building at Five Points intersection Thursday night

A white pickup truck crashed into a building at the Five Points intersection Thursday night, tying up traffic in and around the area for a short period of time.

The truck took out a sign for Phase4 Contracting LLC at 733 Bethlehem Pike and also caused damage to the historic building at the intersection shortly before 10 p.m.

Numerous units from Fire Department of Montgomery Township are on scene, as is Montgomery Township Police and VMSC EMS.

Injuries are unknown at this time. The driver was able to exit the pickup and walk around, per Montgomery County dispatch reports.

Avoid the area.
