A Lansdale Borough man headed to county court on felony burglary charges has been accused by Upper Gwynedd Township Police for a rash of thefts from motor vehicles in January 2023.
Kyle Cortellini, 32, of the 800 block of Cherry Street, Lansdale, was charged Dec. 12 by police with 17 misdemeanor counts of theft from a motor vehicle and 19 misdemeanor counts of prowling and loitering at night, related to offenses that occurred Jan. 17, 2023, according to court documents.
One day after being arrested and charged by Upper Gwynedd for the 2023 offenses, Cortellini was hit with five more misdemeanor charges of theft from a motor vehicle and another charge of loitering and prowling at night by Montgomery Township Police, stemming from incidents that occurred on Nov. 9, 2024, according to court records.
He was issued a summons by Horsham Police on Dec. 4 for a misdemeanor charge of loitering and prowling at night, related to a Nov. 27, 2024 incident, per court records. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 11 at 11:15 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Todd Stephens.
He was charged Sept. 3 by Lansdale Police with two felony counts of burglary and felony criminal trespassing, as well as misdemeanor theft and receiving stolen property, related to an incident on Aug. 23, 2024, per court records.
Cortellini is free on unsecured bail on all offenses. He is out on $10,000 unsecured from the Montgomery Township arrest, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Jan. 14 at 11 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Andrea Duffy.
He is out on $10,000 unsecured from the Upper Gwynedd arrest and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Jan. 30 at 9:30 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Suzan Leonard. He was released on $5,000 unsecured bail in the felony burglary case out of Lansdale.
