State Sen. Collet hosting free Holiday $camJam on Friday in Lansdale

According to the AARP, 78% of older adults report having experienced or been targeted by holiday-related scams last holiday season.

Senator Maria Collett (D-12 Montgomery) is teaming up with the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities to host their Holiday $camJam.

The event will be on Friday from 10 a.m. to noon at Lansdale’s PEAK Center, 606 E. Main St., Suite 1003.

According to the AARP, 78% of older adults (age 65 and up) report having experienced or been targeted by holiday-related scams last holiday season.

The Holiday $camJam is a free event for Pennsylvanians to learn tips, tricks, and best practices to protect themselves and their families from common scam attempts. Presentations from state agencies will be followed by interactive fraud bingo. Representatives from Senator Fetterman’s office will also be in attendance to provide federal resources to attendees.
