The Montgomery County District Attorney and superintendent of Lower Merion Police Department announced today an arrest in connection with the Dec. 8 home invasion and homicide.

Montgomery County DA Kevin R. Steele, along with Superintendent Andrew Block announced Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 17, that an arrest has been made of Kelvin Roberts Jr, 42, address unknown. He is charged with first-degree murder, robbery, and related charges in connection with the Lower Merion incident which occurred on Dec. 8 along Meredith Road in the Wynnewood section of the township, the release said.

As previously reported, police sought the public’s assistance the morning of the murder, seeking two people wanted for the crime, along with two vehicles involved, one being the stolen Jeep of the homeowners. The Jeep was soon recovered, later that Sunday, in West Philadelphia.

On Monday, Dec. 9 a press conference was held to announce both a reward for information leading to an arrest, but also the details of the incident, which included the murder of the homeowner’s son in an “execution-style shooting,” police said.

Andrew Gaudio, 25, was shot and killed that night, while his mother, Bernadette, 61, was also shot during a home invasion, leaving her in critical condition as a result, the DA said.

By Thursday, Dec. 12, the same duo held another press conference to announce that Charles Fulforth, 41, of Jenkintown, was arrested and charged in the incident.

With today’s announcement, the second of the two wanted men have been captured and charged in the matter. Further details will be published as they are made available.
