Lansdale Historical Society wants to share some warm memories this cold weekend with its annual "Holidays at the Homestead" Open House event on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Jenkins Homestead.

The theme of this year's open house is "Winter at the Homestead."

Visitors on Saturday can expect demonstrations of crafts and games and exhibits of tools and foods that existed during winter on the homestead.

The idea is to show people how a farm family, like the Jenkins, might have spent their time during the winter months.
