A two-vehicle accident is blocking a Sellersville intersection during rush hour Wednesday evening

A two-car accident has first responders assisting those involved in Sellersville this evening.

According to reports, two vehicles collided around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday evening in the vicinity of Diamond Street and Main Street in Sellersville. The accident has resulted in injuries with at least one person transported Grandview Hospital, according to those at the scene. Air bags in the vehicles did deploy.

Responding to the incident are Perkasie Fire Department, Sellersville Fire Company, ChalBrit EMS, as well as fire police from both fire departments as well as those from Silverdale Fire, among other first responders.

The condition of those involved is not disclosed at this time. More information will be published as it is made available. Drivers are asked to avoid the intersection until the scene can be cleared.
