Police seek ID of bank robber who made off with undisclosed amount of cash Thursday afternoon

Montgomery Township Police are seeking the identity of a bank robber that made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from Santander Bank Thursday afternoon.

The suspect is a white male, 6 feet tall, about 250 pounds, with a tattoo on his inner right wrist, police said. The robber was wearing a black beanie cap, a mask, a gray sweatshirt, and black pants, according to police.

The robber fled in a black Nissan Sentra sedan with no registration plate, authorities said.

    

On Thursday shortly after 5 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1224 Welsh Road bank for a robbery.

Investigators said the suspect entered the bank at 4:54 p.m. and handed a note requesting money to the teller.

He fled at 4:59 p.m. with the cash. No one was injured. The bank was not empty at the time, police said.
