Once again, Discover Lansdale held a birthday bash for the town, and once again, the crowds came out for history, music, food, beer, art and fireworks.

The 2024 Founders Day event celebrated the borough with all the pomp and circumstance deserving of a historic town.



The early morning kicked off with a boot camp from Carlee Myers Personal Training and a yoga session from Dawn Coe Meyer from Rising Suns Yoga. 

Then, Discover Lansdale presented its Lifetime Achievement Award this year to Anne Henning-Scheuring, followed by an open house and history tour at Jenkins Homestead.

In addition to collaborations from Lansdale's creative community, the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montgomery County held a health fair at Railroad Plaza. 

Century Plaza was the site for live music from the likes of Mike Guldin and Rollim' & Tumblin' and Philly Funk Authority, the beer garden and family entertainment. Eclipse Center for Creative Community held mural painting opportunities for artists young and old alike.   

The Freight House had a Touch-a-Truck event with painted hands, as well as displays of emergency and police vehicles.

Fairmount Fire Co. had a model train display and Lansdale Police offered tours of its station.

The evening was capped off with the grand fireworks display at 9 p.m., set off from Weaver Field at Memorial Park.
