Two-vehicle accident stops traffic on Route 113 at Diamond Road in Sellersville

Emergency responders are currently assessing a two-vehicle accident, with reports of one vehicle into a building on Wednesday evening. The incident is located at Diamond Street and Route 113 in Sellersville.

Travel in the area is being rerouted at Route 113. Diamond Street is closed in both directions.

A silver, four-door Volkswagen with heavy front-end damage and a second vehicle, a silver four-door Toyota with serious driver’s side damage we visible at the scene. The Toyota appeared to have driven into the back of a red, barn-style shed located in a residential yard. Debris is scattered through the roadway.

Pennsylvania State Police are on the scene, and traffic is blocked in all directions of the intersection at this time. Two persons thus far have been transported by ambulance to nearby hospitals.

Currently responding to the scene are emergency units from Sellersville, Silverdale Volunteer Fire Co., Perkasie Fire Co. No. 1, Hilltown Volunteer Fire Company, and Hilltown Township Police, Chal-Brit Regional EMS, Medic 159 of Sellersville Fire Department.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area. Updates will be posted as more information is made available.
