Bob’s Discount Furniture recently presented a $37,000 check to Family Promise, a nonprofit organization to assist the homeless.
Funds were raised as part of the furniture company’s Café Collections for a Cause program, held from April 1 to June 30, 2024. Guests in all of Bob’s locations coast-to-cost contributed to the fundraising campaign, and Bob’s matched every donation dollar-for-dollar, said a Bob’s press release.
Members of Bob’s store leadership team and corporate office presented the Café Collections for a cause donation to members of the Family Promise national team at their Family Promise of Montco PA location. Bob’s employees also volunteered at the facility to help prepare apartments for new incoming families, said the release.
Founded in Summit, New Jersey, in 1988, Family Promise is the leading national nonprofit addressing the crisis of family homelessness.
