The Lansdale Festival of the Arts beautifies Lansdale on Saturday at 10 a.m. in Memorial Park. The event showcases artists and crafters, smooth jazz, and plenty of tasty treats. Sponsors include Merck Sharpe & Dohme Federal Credit Union, Remington and Vernick Engineers, Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board, and Renewal by Anderson.

While the Festival of the Arts goes on in the park, Lansdale Founders Day celebrates the Borough’s history, complete with fireworks.

Highlights to look forward to:

  • Early morning boot-camp and yoga sessions
  • The awarding of the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Lansdale Historical Society, followed by an open house at the Jenkins Homestead
  • The Lansdale Festival of the Arts in Memorial Park
  • Collaborations with Lansdale's creative community
  • The annual Health Fair sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montgomery County
  • Great food, beer garden, family entertainment, model trains, police tours, and live music by bands including Philly Funk Authority
  • See justice in action at the open house at Magisterial District Court 38-1-28, 1:30 to 3:30, located at 430 Pennbrook Parkway (in Pennbrook Station Square) 
  • And, of course, wrapping up with a grand fireworks display at 9 p.m. at Penndale Middle School!

Discover Lansdale will also announce the Lifetime Achievement Award winner.

Elastic Karma rocks White’s Road Park for its Summer Concert Series on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. Donations will be collected for Home at Last Dog Rescue. Bike North Penn will have its bike valet station, and food trucks include Comfort Kitchen, Kono Pizza and Hardy Funnel Cakes. And, of course, Well Crafted Beer.

Cool your doggies off at Fourth Street Park & Pool in Lansdale on Thursday at 5 p.m. for its Puppy Plunge at 4th Street Pool. Dogs under 30 pounds are invited from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., and dogs more than 30 pounds are welcome at 6:15 p.m.

Trinity Lutheran Church holds a Summer Block Party on Sunday at 5 p.m. Water games, food and fun for all ages.

On Friday night in North Wales, Little’s Ice Cream & Water Ice holds an End of Summer Party at 6:30sponsored by Katelyn Mathe Team-Real Estate. The event features activities and, of course, ice cream.
