Ethan Kelly, a 15-year-old last seen at home in Lansdale, on Aug. 16, has gone missing. He voluntarily left his home and has been “running since,” according to his father.
Kelly was reportedly wearing black sweatpants, a dark-colored hoodie, with a T-shirt and grey Crocs. His hair is brown, and a bit on the longer side. Some have reported a sighting at the Montgomeryville Mall, though Kelly ran upon noticing he’d been spotted, his father said.
“He left his phone, and as far as we’re aware he has no money,” said Nicholas Ventresca, the boy’s father, who suspects he may be hiding out with friends.
“He does not want to be found, and will keep running,” said Ventresca. “Please do no approach, just report the sighting to police. Those that see Kelly should call the Lansdale Police Department at 215-368-1801 or dial 911 and explain to dispatch the information.
Hiding an underage minor is a punishable offense, and Ventresca said that charges can be filed if they find others are helping him.
Kelly is described as being around 5’7”, weighing 128 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
