PHOTOS: A Fine Saturday at Lansdale Farmers' Market

It was planted as a seed of an idea in 2008 by neighborhood residents, business owners and elected officials and sprouted the next year in Railroad Plaza. From there, it bloomed at Century Plaza along Railroad Avenue before blossoming in popularity at the parking lot of Penndale Middle School.

The nine-member board of directors organizes the five-time Montco Happening List-winning market every Saturday from May 11 to Dec. 21, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 400 Penn St.

Vendors are too many to list, but rest assured the market offers a variety of commodities, artisan goods, fresh produce and more to delight anyone’s lifestyle. Check out the vendors here.
