Accident with injuries in Montgomery Township Thursday afternoon remains under investigation

Montgomery Township Police said Friday morning a crash is still under investigation that injured two people Thursday afternoon on North Wales Road.

Police said there are no formal charges filed against anyone at this time.

The accident occurred shortly after 3:30 p.m. at 623 North Wales Road and involved a pickup truck and a sedan, police said.

Both occupants of the sedan were injured, with one suffering minor cuts and refusing treatment from VMSC Emergency Medical Services and the other person suffering from neck injuries and taken to Abington Hospital for treatment, police said.

The scene was cleared by 4:19 p.m.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Montgomery Township Police and its Highway Safety Unit were assisted at the scene by VMSC EMS, Fire Department of Montgomery Township, and Montgomery Township Fire Police.
