A man was struck by a vehicle while walking to meet friends at a bar on Friday night in East Rockhill Township, Bucks County.
Pennridge Regional Police Department and emergency first responders are currently investigating a scene along Old Bethlehem Pike at Ridge Road, near The Horse Tavern, in Sellersville.
Currently, the area is warded off with crime scene tape. The intersection is closed in all directions.
Only one vehicle, reported as the striking vehicle, is taped off at the scene. Witnesses say that a man was walking to the bar to meet friends and did not make it yet inside. Prior to his arrival, he was struck walking along Old Bethlehem Pike by a car.
Blood and personal items were seen in the roadway. Detectives are investigating the scene, and have a single, four-door white Toyota sedan with front, passenger’s side damage. The windshield is shattered on the passenger’s side, as well.
Emergency crews had tended to the man, whose condition is unknown at this time. He was transported from the scene via EMS. According to witnesses at the scene, a woman who was driving the white Toyota was also taken via ambulance for additional medical attention.
