Green Street in Lansdale closed between York and Vine due to four-car accident

A vehicle accident was reported in Lansdale on Wednesday around 6 p.m. at Green and Vine streets. Four vehicles were involved in the accident, that left at least two transported by ambulance for medical attention.

A dark grey Toyota Sienna, with New Jersey license plates, sustained heavy damages on multiple sides, while a dark grey Ford sedan was loaded onto a tow truck with heavy front, passenger’s side damages. Two other vehicles had been removed from the scene prior to North Penn Now arrival.

Witnesses at the scene report having seen the van traveling the wrong way down the one-way Green Street. Three of the four cars were towed away.

Green Street is currently closed between York Avenue and Vine Street. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.

Emergency crews reporting to the scene included VMSC of Lansdale Emergency Medical, while investigating the scene are Lansdale Police, a K-9 unit, Hatfield Police, and Upper Gwynedd Police departments.
