Rep. Matt Bradford faces no competition in 70th, Malagari to face Republican Bonavita in 53rd District race
Unofficial Primary Election results show many incumbent state Senators and Representatives in our region, in a few cases, doubling the votes of their competitors.
Most of the races in our area did not have Primary competition and will face their challengers in November.
Rep. Matt Bradford, D-70, had no Democratic challenger in the Primary, and faces no Republican opponent to date in November.
Incumbent District 1 Republican Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick had about a 500-vote margin between himself and his Republican challenger Mark Houck – 5,635 to 5,132.
Fitzpatrick will face off against Democratic challenger Ashley Ehasz in November. Ehasz unofficially garnered 9,196 votes in the Primary, about 4,000 more votes than Fitzpatrick received on Tuesday.
See below for unofficial election results, according to the Montgomery County Board of Elections.
