2 injured in two-car crash at Route 309 and Trewigtown Road Wednesday morning

Both directions of Route 309 have been reduced to one lane following a two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning at Route 309 and Trewigtown Road in Hatfield Township.

Two people were taken to area hospitals for treatment of injuries by Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale, according to reports from the scene. One patient was taken to Grand View Hospital, per reports.

A Jeep and a Toyota Tundra collided at the intersection around 9:30 a.m. Both vehicle were towed from the scene. 

EMS was treating another person in the back of a second ambulance.

Genders and ages of those injured are unknown at this time.
