The September 21 fundraiser on the grounds of the Towamencin historic property will offer $65 general admission tickets
Pre-sale tickets for Morgan Log House’s Tavern Night in September are available until April 21 for members only during a limited time event, announced director Molly Jobson in a press release.
According to Jobson, Morgan Log House members do save on the cost of tickets, but the pre-sale offers an additional $5 off, bringing the price to $50. Members will get a special email with information on the sale.
Morgan Log House offers seven membership levels, each named after popular dye materials since the house tenants were cloth makers. Sign up to be a member here.
The proceeds from the event will go toward bringing the past to life, according to its website.
Tickets for general admission will go on sale following the April 21 pre-sale deadline.
“This year we have partnered with Towamencin Township to turn our historic site into one of the temporary hang-out spots in the area,” stated its website.
Tavern Night is set for Sept. 21 at the log house at 850 Weikel Road from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $55 for members (post special sale), $65 for general admission, $75 on the day of the event, and $30 for designated driver.
There are no physical tickets for the event, per the website. Attendees will be placed on a will-call list at the door.
The ticket gives attendees three drink vouchers, food from Chef Chipper and AAA Catering, live music, access to the tavern/Colonial bar, a tour of the log house, interactions with living historians, and a commemorative beer glass.
Drinks provided by Colonial Tavern Bar, the Log House Bar, and Well Crafted Brewing Company.
Tavern Night is the Morgan Log House’s annual temporary beer festival on its historic grounds in Towamencin Township.
