A driver was injured in a single-vehicle crash Thursday morning along the 1500 block of Cowpath Road in Hatfield Township.
Police were dispatched to the scene at 6:08 a.m. for a report of a vehicle crash with injuries. Arriving officers discovered a white sedan had struck the sign at the entrance to the Snyder Square Shopping Center.
The vehicle had to be towed from the scene, and the driver was transported from the scene via ambulance to Lansdale Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, according to Hatfield Township Police Chief Bill Tierney.
The cause of the crash has been ruled to be driver error, Tierney said, adding that police will not be filing charges in connection with the crash.
The scene was cleared by 6:40 p.m., police said.
Hatfield Township Police were assisted at the scene by VMSC Emergency Medical Services.
