Discover Lansdale’s annual Chili Cookoff will make its return to First Fridays in October, and organizers are looking for a dozen or so talented cooks and chefs who know how to bring the heat.
The cookoff has been inserted into October’s Fall Harvest First Friday festivities — more on those next week. The contest will be held on Susquehanna Ave next to the beer garden in the West Main Lot, with the contest being held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and awards being announced at 8:45 p.m.
Judging will be done by the general public via write-in ballots during the course of the contest, and awards for first, second and third place will be provided afterwards.
For additional details and the entry form, click here. Once filled out, the form should be emailed to [email protected].
The contest will be limited to the first 15 entries, and both businesses and private residents are allowed to enter.
Previous winners include Montella’s Pub in 2019, Stove and Tap in 2018, and Eve Mitchell in 2022.
