A person was injured Tuesday night following a road rage incident off Forty Foot Road in Hatfield Township.
Police were dispatched to the area of Forty Foot and Clemens roads at 8:25 p.m. for a report of a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. The initial investigation determined that “some type of road rage incident” occurred between the drivers of a white Hyundai sedan and a white box truck as they were traveling on Forty Foot Road, according to police.
Both vehicles then turned onto Kirkwood Road, at which point one of the drivers exited their vehicle and a disturbance ensued, resulting in one of the drivers on the roadway. When reached for comment, police declined to provide further details citing the ongoing nature of the investigation.
North Penn Now photographer Jimmy James, who was at the scene, said he observed a pool of blood in the roadway along with various personal items. He also confirmed one person was transported from the scene via ambulance with unknown injuries.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or with information related to the incident to contact Officer William Summerfield of the Hatfield Township Police Department at 215-855-0903 and reference case number 2023-19943. Tips can also be submitted anonymously here.
