Police Investigating ‘Rash of Thefts from Vehicles’ that Occurred Early Friday Morning Across Area

Area police are reminding residents to remove all valuables from their vehicles and keep their vehicles locked when unattended following a “rash of thefts from vehicles” early Friday morning.

According to a release from the Hilltown Township Police Department, the thefts occurred during the early-morning hours of Sept. 15 in Perkasie Borough, Franconia Township, and Harleysville. Reported incidents are being investigated in each jurisdiction by their respective police departments, the report states.

It’s unclear how many vehicles had items stolen from them. Anyone with knowledge of the incidents is asked to contact their local police department.
