First responders are at the scene of a multi-vehicle crash with injuries and entrapment on Mininger Road in Franconia Township.
Crews were dispatched to the scene near the intersection with Milburn Court at 5:44 p.m. for a report of a multi-vehicle crash with multiple people injured and at least two trapped inside of the vehicle. Sources tell North Penn Now that one of the vehicles flipped and caught fire, adding that at least one child was pulled from the vehicle while two other people were trapped inside.
Emergency Alerts of Southeastern Pennsylvania reports the other two inside of the vehicle were pulled from the wreckage by first responders at 5:52 p.m.
Multiple units from VMSC Emergency Medical Services have been dispatched to the scene, and a medevac helicopter is stationed for a landing at Ashers Chocolates along the unit block of Wambold Road.
Franconia Township Police are being assisted at the scene by units from Perseverance and Hatfield fire companies. The scene is active at this time and motorists should avoid the area.
