A Sellersville woman has been charged with more than a dozen felony counts of sexual abuse of children after her boyfriend contacted police alleging she had created and distributed child pornography.

Stephanie Chubb, 30, has been charged with two felony counts of photograph/film/depiction of child pornography, eight felony counts of dissemination of child pornography, eight felony counts of possession of child pornography, two felony counts of corruption of minors, two misdemeanor counts of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age, and two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child, in connection with the investigation by the Perkasie Borough Police Department.

Chubb is currently being held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10% of $500,000 cash bail.

Investigators were contacted on Aug. 21 by a man who had been in a relationship with Chubb for several months. The man told police that Chubb had allegedly sent him multiple videos of child pornography via text message, including a pair of videos showing a woman believed to be Chubb inappropriately touching a child, according to charging documents.

Investigators said the man provided evidence of text-based conversations with Chubb, which included a video appearing to show a juvenile female performing a sex act on an adult male. When the man asked if the girl was a kid, Chubb replied, “Yes, she is 12 years old,” police said.

Chubb then sent the man a video of a different juvenile female, along with a third video of an adult female performing a sex act on a juvenile male, according to the criminal complaint.

In a separate text-based communication, Chubb sent another five videos containing child pornography, including one where the camera flips and appears to show her face, and another of what police believe to be Chubb’s hand touching a child, police said.

Charges were filed against Chubb on Thursday, and she was arraigned Thursday afternoon by Magisterial District Judge Regina Armitage.

Investigators said they have identified one victim, however anyone with further information related to the investigation or other potential victims is asked to contact the Perkasie Borough Police Department’s Detective Unit at 215-257-6876. Tips can also be submitted anonymously here.
