First Responders on Scene After Vehicle Strikes Home in Hatfield

First responders at the scene of a vehicle crash in Hatfield Borough involving an SUV that struck a home on Main Street.

Crews were dispatched to the scene along the 100 block of Main Street at 3:20 p.m. for a report of a vehicle crash. Arriving personnel found that a black Honda SUV had struck the front porch area of a home on the corner of Main and Poplar streets.

Witnesses at the scene told North Penn Now the SUV was traveling on Main Street when it suddenly veered into the home. No injuries have been reported.

Main Street is down to one lane as police and fire personnel work and process the scene. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area.

Hatfield Township Police are being assisted at the scene by units from the Hatfield Fire Company.
