Photos: First Friday Chili Cookoff in Lansdale Borough

Discover Lansdale held their annual Chili Cookoff on Friday evening as part of their October First Friday festivities.

Crowds took to downtown Lansdale to enjoy an evening of music, food trucks, and of course, chili submissions from area residents and businesses. Some mid-event rain put a damper on the activities, sending many attendees heading for cover, but the event marched on and the winners of the 2023 contest were ultimately named as follows:

• First Place: Kylai Greenwood, "I Do What I Can Chili”
• Second Place: Eve Mitchell, "Southwest Sabroso Verde Chili” (2022 Winner)
• Third Place: Alex Mears, "License to Chili” (Round House chef)
