First responders are currently at the scene of a multiple vehicle crash with injuries along the 700 block of Bethlehem Pike in Lower Gwynedd Township.
Crews were dispatched to the scene at 3:25 p.m. for a report of a vehicle crash. Witnesses at the scene told North Penn Now that a black SUV left the roadway and went into a small ditch that launched the vehicle airborne. The SUV then clipped a pickup truck and came to a rest in front of a nearby car dealership.
The male driver became trapped in his vehicle as a result of the crash and required rescue from firefighters at the scene. He was transported from the scene via ambulance with unknown injuries.
Portions of the roadway are closed due to the crash, and motorists are encouraged to avoid the area.
