Hatfield Police are currently at the scene of a shooting along the 1600 block of Forest Hills Drive that occurred earlier Tuesday evening.
According to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety, first responders were dispatched to the scene just after 8 p.m. for a report of a shooting. Multiple sources told North Penn Now one male victim was transported from the scene via ambulance with a gunshot wound.
Sources at the scene describe seeing a heavy police presence from multiple area jurisdictions, including crime scene and canine units. Investigators were also seen canvassing the area with flashlights, sources said.
No further information is available, and it’s currently unclear if the shooter has been identified or is in custody.
