Bucks County SPCA Offers Reward for Information on Shooting of Two Cats

The Bucks County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) on Monday announced a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the recent shooting of two cats in Falls Township.

The incident occurred in the vicinity of Aspen Falls Apartments on Trenton Road in the Fairless Hills section of Falls Township. According to the SPCA, the shooting took place between 11 a.m. and noon on Wednesday, November 15.

The nonprofit is offering a $2,500 reward for information on the shooting.

Bucks County SPCA official said the shooting resulted in the tragic death of a white cat named Tootsie and severe injuries to a black cat named Jackie.

Officials said Jackie required emergency surgery to remove her eye due to the injuries sustained, but she survived the shooting.

"Her eye was removed and a projectile remains lodged near her brain,” the nonprofit posted on social media.

The Bucks County SPCA is actively seeking information from the public.

Bucks County SPCA Chief Humane Police Officer Nikki Thompson is leading the investigation.
