Police are investigating after a vehicle crashed into a home in Hilltown Township Friday afternoon.
The crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. on Nov 17 along the 400 block of Cherry Road. Arriving emergency personnel found a tan Toyota Camry had struck a home and came to a stop with the vehicle nearly fully inside the home.
It’s currently unclear how the crash occurred.
Radio traffic from the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety indicated the driver initially fled the scene on foot, but they were located a short time later and were escorted back to the scene.
No injuries were reported.
Police were observed searching through the vehicle after it was removed from the home.
