One person was injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Hatfield Township Monday evening.
First responders were dispatched to the 2500 block of Line Lexington Road around 5 p.m. on Nov. 13 for a report of a vehicle crash with injuries and entrapment. Arriving crews found two damaged vehicles — a Walton Oil van and white SUV —at the scene, with the van being flipped on its side.
Crews worked to rescue the driver of the overturned vehicle, and one person was transported from the scene via ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
A witness at the scene told North Penn Now that both vehicles were traveling on Line Lexington Road approaching the curve when the SUV sideswiped the van, causing it to overturn.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
Hatfield Police were assisted at the scene by units from Colmar and Hatfield fire companies, as well as the Fire Department of Montgomery Township and VMSC Emergency Medical Services.
