Montgomery Township to Host Touch-a-Truck Toy Drive Saturday Featuring Replica Optimus Prime

Montgomery Township will host their annual Touch-a-Truck Toy Drive this Saturday, with a cameo appearance from the world’s first and only fan-built Age of Extinction replica of Optimus Prime.

The event is scheduled for Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Montgomery Township Community and Recreation Center located at 1030 Horsham Road. The event will feature vehicles from the township’s police, fire, and public works departments, as well as Optimus Prime.

Guests are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy for donation, which will be distributed to families in need across Montgomery County this holiday season.

Following the event, Optimus Prime will receive a multi-police vehicle escort to the 72nd annual Mardi Gras Parade, which will kick off at the intersection of West Main Street and Mitchell Avenue at 1 p.m. Read more about that event here.
