Pearl S. Buck Estate’s Holiday Events Return This Month

An assortment of winter holiday events returns this month to the historic Pearl S. Buck Estate.

In a press release, Pearl S. Buck International detailed some of the upcoming events. One event is the Annual Festival of Trees, featuring trees and vignettes designed by Bucks County artists and community groups to convey Pearl S. Buck’s legacy as an author, humanitarian and activist. Attendees can visit more than 20 holiday displays throughout the museum and vote for their favorite display. The event runs from Nov. 15 to Jan. 7. For tour times and prices, visit pearlsbuck.org/visit-the-pearl-s-buck-house/plan-your-visit/

Another event is a winter holiday centerpiece-making class with Mark Bryan Designs. Based in Upper Black Eddy, Mark Bryan has over 30 years of experience in floral design, landscaping design and horticultural experience. The class will be held on Dec. 17 at 2 p.m. A $75 fee will cover the cost of all supplies. Registration is available at pearlsbuck.org/centerpiece/

Other events include a Community Holiday Party on Dec. 10 from 3 to 5 p.m., which will include complimentary tours of the Festival of Trees, announcement of the winners, light refreshments and a visit from Santa, and a Holiday Craft Show from Nov. 24 to Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring jury-selected gifts, decorations, food, jewelry, apparel and more from professional crafters, artists and chefs, said the press release.

Proceeds from the events benefit the humanitarian and educational work and mission of Pearl S. Buck International. All events take place at the historic Pearl S. Buck Estate at 520 Dublin Road. For more information, call 215-249-0100 or visit pearlsbuck.org.
