Daniel’s Lawn and Garden Center will host a free veterans photo ID program on Nov. 15.
In a press release, Daniel’s announced that Jeanne Sorg, the Montgomery County Recorder of Deeds, will be on-site to issue personal veteran ID cards that can be used to claim veteran discounts from local businesses. Veterans are encouraged to bring their DD214, military discharge and a photo ID.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. In honor of Veteran’s Day, Daniel’s will be doubling its veterans discount for the entire day, said the press release.
In addition to the photo ID program, Daniel’s will hold a Toys for Tots Toy Drive on November 25 and 26 and a pet food drive on December 2 and 3. For more information, call 610-287-9144.
