Families Enjoy Fun-Filled Afternoon at Pearl S. Buck Estate’s Oktoberfest

The 67-acre historic Pearl S. Buck Estate was filled for the Oktoberfest celebration on Sunday, October 22.

In a press release, the organization detailed some of the celebration’s offerings, including German fare, baked sale goods and beer, the oompah-rock musical stylings of Polkadelphia, apple cider press demonstrations and a variety of kids’ activities, including pumpkin painting, crafts, removable tattoos, and sidewalk chalk. The event also provided free tours of the Pearl S. Buck House National Historic Landmark museum.

"Thank you to everyone who supported this event as a vendor, sponsor, and/or volunteer, and to all our guests, both returning and new, for making this fun-filled afternoon a resounding success!” said the release.
