Woman’s Body Found in Parked Car at Valley Stream Apartments in Hatfield Township

A woman’s body was found inside a vehicle parked at the Valley Stream Apartments in Hatfield Township on Wednesday afternoon, North Penn Now has confirmed.

According to sources with knowledge of the investigation, the woman’s body was found by a maintenance worker inside a dark-colored sedan in the parking lot of the complex along the 2100 block of North Line Street. The body was found lying across the backseat of the vehicle near the R Building of the complex, sources said.

Police have confirmed to North Penn Now that a body was recovered at the scene, however the identity of the person has not been released and is pending review by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.

The location where the body was discovered is approximately 2.2 miles from the last known location of 56-year-old Christi Troiano, who was reported missing on April 25 and whose vehicle was last seen traveling through the intersection of Orvilla and Cowpath roads.

When reached for comment, Souderton Borough Police Chief Brian Newhall said he was unable to confirm any details, adding he’s awaiting the identification from the coroner’s office.
