First Responders on Scene of Teen Struck by Vehicle in Lansdale

Police and emergency responders are at the scene of an accident in Lansdale Borough in which a teen was struck by a vehicle.

The incident occurred at 4:08 p.m. at the intersection of South Broad and East Hancock streets. Sources tell North Penn Now that a teen boy was struck by a vehicle. The extent of the teen’s injuries are currently unknown, however sources said the teen is awake and alert. Units from the Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale are en route to the scene, according to county dispatch.

The cause of the incident is currently unknown.

The scene remains active at this time, and motorists are encouraged to avoid the area.
