First Responders on Scene of Child Struck by Vehicle in Hatfield Borough

First responders are currently on the scene of a pedestrian struck incident on East Broad Street near the intersection with Cherry Street in Hatfield Borough.

Montgomery County Department of Public Safety indicates the incident occurred at 3:46 p.m. Sources tell North Penn Now the victim is a juvenile with short black hair, likely male. First responders were observed providing medical care to the juvenile, who was lying in the street.

The extent of the child’s injuries is currently unknown, however county dispatch shows both an ambulance and a medevac have been dispatched in response to the incident.
