Montgomery County Announces Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Events for 2023

(The following information was provided by the Montgomery County Office of Communications.)

Montgomery County sponsored household hazardous waste collection events will begin on April 29. The events are by appointment only and pre-registration is required. No televisions, electronics, or appliances are accepted at these chemical collections. Businesses and contractors will be turned away from these residential events.

  • Saturday, April 29: Boyertown Middle School East, 2020 Big Road, Gilbertsville
  • Saturday, May 6: Oak Ridge Elementary School, 465 Moyer Road, Harleysville
  • Saturday, May 20: Temple University-Ambler Campus, Enter at 1431 E. Butler Pike, Ambler
  • Saturday, June 17: Norristown Area High School, 1900 Eagle Drive, Norristown
  • Saturday, June 24: Abington Middle School, Enter at 2056 Susquehanna Rd., Abington
  • Saturday, Sept. 23: Spring-Ford 9th Grade Center, 400 South Lewis Road, Royersford
  • Sunday, Oct. 22: Lower Merion Transfer Station, 1300 North Woodbine Avenue, Penn Valley

Montgomery County residents may also attend any Household Hazardous Waste event held in BucksChesterDelaware or Philadelphia Counties.

In case of severe weather, call (610) 278-3618 and press option six for event status. Please do not contact the host sites. They are not affiliated with the events.
