Based on the 2013 animated feature film, Disney’s stage adaptation of Frozen opened on Broadway in March 2018. Music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, book written by Jennifer Lee, it tells the story of two sisters and princesses, Anna and Elsa. Elsa has magical powers to freeze objects, and she loses control of these powers when she suddenly inherits the throne. Anna has to save her sister and the kingdom from eternal winter.

NPHS was selected last year to perform Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical as part of a nationwide competition among U.S. high schools for the rights to perform the show at the high school level for the first time. The competition, The United States of Frozen, Love is an Open Door, selected one high school from each U.S. state and territory to receive the exclusive rights to the show. NPHS was selected out of 300 high school applicants to perform the first and only production of Disney’s Frozen in a high school in Pennsylvania.

Now it’s back for a second year.

Ticket sales begin March 15 and are available exclusively online at here. Adults are $10, students $5. Tickets will be sold at the door based on availability and accessibility.

Shows will be live streamed on April 29 and May 6 at 7:30 p.m. One streaming ticket for $35 provides access to the show for unlimited viewers. Streaming tickets are also available at here.
