McAllister Brewing Company will host a unique beer-release event this Saturday, in partnership with the North Wales-based Butter Sweet Baked bakery.
The event is scheduled for March 11 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at 810 Dickerson Road Unit D, and will include the debut of the Fluffernutter Peanut Butter Cream Ale — a collaboration brew between McAllister and Butter Sweet Baked. The release party will also include musical performances by Merit’s Mike Dougherty at 7:30 p.m., as well as Brooke and Fiona from Froggy at 8:30 p.m.
Butter Sweet Baked was launched in June 2021 by owners June and Brian Feenie. The couple operates a unique business model in which their cookies and goods are put up for sale online every Tuesday at noon, and they’re typically sold out within a couple hours.
Over the last several years, the Feenie’s have kindled a friendship with Kate and Mike at McAllister, which eventually led to the collaboration between the two businesses to create a cookie-inspired beer based off the top-selling fluffernutter cookie.
