Police on Scene of Single Vehicle Crash with Injuries in Montgomery Township

First responders are currently at the scene of a single vehicle crash with injuries on Stump Road in Montgomery Township.

Police were dispatched to the scene at 3:04 p.m. for a report of a single-vehicle crash. A source at the scene said it appears an SUV struck a utility pole, with a male driver suffering injuries as a result.

The driver was observed sitting on the ground as emergency medical personnel tended to his injuries. The man is being transported from the scene via ambulance for further treatment, the source said.

The scene is active at this time, and the roadway is down to one lane as a result of the crash. Motorists should avoid the area or expect delays.

Montgomery Township Police are being assisted at the scene by units from the Fire Department of Montgomery Township and the Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale.
