Photos: North Penn High School Class of 2023 Graduation

North Penn High School held their commencement ceremony for the Class of 2023 Wednesday night at Crawford Stadium, with 1,047 students turning their tassels and taking the next steps in their lives.

Speakers at the ceremony included Valedictorian Jacob H. Yin, Salutatorian Esha Velaga, Class President Nathaniel C. Kim, and staff-selected speaker Jack K. Bachman. According to statistics provided by the school district, the graduating class included five National Merit Scholarship winners with 14 semifinalists and 21 other students receiving National Merit Scholarship commendations.

Other numbers from the Class of 2023:

  • 184 students will attend a two-year community college or trade school
  • 324 students will attend a Pennsylvania state-affiliated university
  • 130 students will attend a private in-state university
  • 25 students will enlist in the military
  • 97 students will join the workforce
  • The Class of 2023 is the 51st class to graduate from the current North Penn High School
  • North Penn won exclusive rights to produce the only Pennsylvania production of Disney’s “Frozen: The Broadway Musical”
