Feline Frenzy in North Wales to Host Outdoor Summer Market Tuesday Nights Through August

Two months after opening their new shop in North Wales, Feline Frenzy Cat Rescue is looking to bring some extra activity to Main Street for the summer.

The Perkiomenville-based no-kill cat rescue will be hosting a weekly summer market at their new store along the 100 block of North Main Street in the former North Wales Pharmacy location. The events are scheduled for Tuesday nights between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. and will include vendors, food trucks, and music in their rear parking lot near the intersection of Lumber and Second streets.

The area of the market will be closed off by the borough during that period, according to the shop’s owner. Anyone interested in becoming a vendor, sponsor, or who wishes to perform at the summer market can send an email to [email protected].

Feline Frenzy held a Grand Opening for their Shop and Adopt non-profit thrift store in early April and have since had 29 cats adopted to date. Visitors to the shop can purchase a variety of used items including clothes, knick-knacks, jewelry, furniture, and more, with all proceeds from the shop going to the organization’s feline rescue.

The shop is also continuing to look for item donations as well as volunteers to watch over the cat area to ensure the kittens are happy and being treated properly. Donations can be scheduled for drop off by emailing [email protected]and a volunteer application is available through their website.

The summer markets will officially begin June 6. For more information, follow Feline Frenzy on Facebook.
