Several North Penn Schools Earn 'No Place For Hate' Designation

Several schools in the North Penn School District (NPSD) have earned the No Place for Hate designation, given by the Anti-Defamation League.

A.M. Kulp Elementary, Gwynedd Square Elementary, Inglewood Elementary, Montgomery Elementary, York Avenue Elementary, Pennfield Middle School, and North Penn High School have all received this designation.

A No Place for Hate designation is provided to schools that commit to combating prejudice and creating effective tools to address these issues in the classroom and community. To earn this designation, schools must form a committee that empowers students to make positive change, sign the No Place for Hate Pledge, assess their school climate to ensure all are heard, and implement activities to help students and staff learn new ways to challenge bias and bullying.

"We are very proud to be recognized in our schools with a No Place for Hate designation,” said Superintendent Dr. Todd Bauer. "The North Penn School District is committed to creating and maintaining inclusive environments for all students and staff. I look forward to implementing the No Hate for Place Program in additional North Penn schools.”
