Police Investigating After Vehicle Damages Memorial Bench While Driving through Harleysville Park Saturday Morning

The vehicle is believed to be a Ford Edge, according to police.

Lower Salford Township Police are seeking public assistance in identifying the vehicle and driver responsible for damaging a memorial bench at Camp Wawa Park early Saturday morning.

Investigators said the vehicle, believed to be a Ford Edge, was driving recklessly in the park around 1 a.m. on July 15, at which point it caused damage to a memorial bench adjacent to a nearby stream. Police said the vehicle would have sustained damage to the driver’s side and possibly the front end.
