Normandy Farms to Host ‘Glamour in the Garden’ Fine Dining Event Next Month

It is not Labor Day yet, which means white is still haute couture, especially at Normandy Farms’ “Behind the White Wall: Glamour in the Garden” event on Aug. 17.

For $136, diners can take part in Normandy Farms’ “new standard for chic outdoor events,” inviting guests to wear trendy white attire, shoes, and accessories for its fine dining event served family-style in its Grand Garden.

The three-hour event kicks off with a prosecco welcome and hors d’oeuvres at 6 p.m., followed by a traditional napkin twirl, then family-style dinner and dancing by 6:45 p.m., courtesy of live music from Tim Williams Band, according to its Eventbrite page.

Hors d’oeuvres include a farmstead charcuterie and cheese display with fig and goat cheese crostini, tuna tacos, and goat cheese cigars. There is also a martini bar featuring Ketel One brand espresso martinis on tap. The family-style dinner includes seasonal salad, bone-in ribeye steak, cedar plank salmon, and whole rotisserie chicken, sides such as roasted purple potatoes and creamed spinach, and dessert including vanilla bean goat’s milk parma cotta with fresh berries.

According to Julia Rapp of Montco.Today, the event is a special feature of the Whitpain Township restaurant’s summer Beer & BBQ series.

“We are constantly searching for ways to evolve and experiment in the event and entertainment industry, outside of our highly successful Beer & BBQ Series. Glamour in the Garden provides our culinary team the opportunity to showcase presentation and flavor skills through the latest food trends,” Nicole Fazio, marketing manager at Hansen Properties/Normandy Farm told Montco.Today.
