Christi Ann Troiano (Mccann), of Souderton, passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2023. She was 56 years old. Born on Nov. 1, 1966, to Phyllis Mccann (Molloy) and the late James Mccann in Philadelphia, Christi was a graduate of St. Hubert’s High School Class of 1984. She got her degree in accounting later in life from Lansdale School of Business, graduating with honors. She continued to apply her expertise in numbers and mathematics in many instances throughout her life and career.
Christi is survived by her mother, Phyllis, her siblings, James Mccann III and Virginia Mccann, her daughter, Nicole, her grandchildren, Meela and Justin, her niece, Ashley, nephew, Jameson, and ex-husband, Joe Troiano. She is proceeded in death by her son, Eric Otto, and her father James.
For those that had the privilege of knowing Christi, knew she had excellent taste in fashion and had a natural talent for home décor and interior design. She worked many craft fairs and events to sell beautiful handmaid creations. She formed her own home-based business called “Favorable Expressions,” which included an assortment of hand-crafted gifts, favors, and essentials for any formal occasion. However, it only lasted for a short time. Christi continued to sell goods through e-commerce with third-party websites until she died. She loved the finer things in life. Some would refer to her as a perfectionist because of how organized and well-put together she was.
Although her beauty was striking on the outside, Christi’s affectionate and kind-hearted personality stood out the most to the people closest to her. She was a loving, devoted mother and took on the role of caretaker, with her daughter Nicole, for her grandchildren, Meela and Justin. Christi and Nicole joined together as a team in raising them after the death of her son, Eric, and the children’s mother, Christina (Anderson) in 2019. She loved her family whole-heartedly and unconditionally. She enjoyed staying connected and spending time with friends in her free time. She was known to be an excellent hostess and party planner for holidays and family events throughout the years. Christi most enjoyed spending time in the sun while reading a good book or listening to her favorite music. She was lucky enough to have traveled the world and been on numerous cruises during her time. Some of her favorite places traveled included Spain, Paris, Italy, Dominican Republic, Portugal, Haiti, Punta Cana and many more. She also enjoyed going down the shore and staying at casino hotels and resorts to have fun. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
A private celebration of life will be held at the family’s request.
