North Penn Water Authority Thanks Community and Staff for Participation in Toys for Tots Program

The North Penn Water Authority (NWPA) wants to thank our customers, community businesses, and NPWA employees for their generosity this past holiday season. For the 23rd year, NPWA was a drop-off site for the Toys for Tots Program, sponsored by the U.S. Marine Corps.

Local organizations and communities, including Harrington Village of Souderton, contributed toys, money, and gift cards to NPWA’s collection this year. The Montgomery-Harleysville region’s total campaign collected over 15,000 toys and distributed to over 3,500 children this season.

The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through the gift of a new toy, the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to less fortunate children.

“On behalf of NPWA, I want to thank the community and our employees who donated to Toys for Tots this year,” said Anthony J. Bellitto, Jr. P.E., executive director of North Penn Water Authority. “Despite ongoing economic challenges, our staff, customers, and community generously supported this ongoing tradition which makes Christmas a little brighter for families in need in our region.”
